Exploring Green Opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative: Armenian Embassy's Commercial Counselor Visits LUYUAN Group

Apr 25,2026

Recently, Koryun Ghazaryan, Commercial Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in China, led a delegation to the headquarters of LUYUAN Group. The two parties engaged in high-level discussions centered on the global expansion of new energy transportation technologies and the construction of regional low-carbon ecosystems.

During the visit, the Counselor's delegation gained firsthand insight into LUYUAN's nearly 30-year legacy as a pioneer in China's electric two-wheelers industry. From pioneering the first generation of electric bicycles to leading the industry with its proprietary liquid-cooled technology, LUYUAN's trajectory exemplifies the evolution of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China"—moving from a follower to a global pacesetter.

Counselor Koryun Ghazaryan noted that LUYUAN's durable and resilient technical solutions are exceptionally well-suited for Armenia's specific natural environment, characterized by mountainous terrain and significant temperature fluctuations. He emphasized that LUYUAN's technology provides a robust foundation for Armenia to establish a green, reliable, and modern commuting system.

As a vital gateway connecting the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Europe, Armenia is accelerating its national green energy transition, leveraging its strategic geographical location and abundant solar resources. Counselor Ghazaryan expressed the Embassy's commitment to acting as a bridge, inviting LUYUAN to utilize Armenia as a strategic hub for green innovation in the Eurasian region. By capitalizing on Armenia's open trade environment and favorable policies for green industries, both parties aim to co-develop adaptive, low-carbon regional transportation models.

Looking toward the future, both parties outlined a phased blueprint for a green ecosystem. The collaboration is set to begin with the smart upgrading of urban public services and commercial logistics, prioritizing the deployment of standardized battery-swapping energy networks. Once this infrastructure is established, the partnership will gradually expand into broader civilian consumer sectors.

Furthermore, the discussion explored a long-term vision of integrating green mobility with Armenia's photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage infrastructure. By enabling smart connectivity between energy management and vehicle data, the two parties aim to create a new benchmark for low-carbon societies. This initiative represents more than just a shift in transportation; it is a profound reshaping of the future living environment.

This visit not only underscores LUYUAN's growing brand influence along the "Belt and Road" but also signals the emergence of a new Eurasian green ecosystem driven by core Chinese technologies. With an expansive international perspective, LUYUAN is committed to contributing more "Chinese Solutions" to the global mission of sustainable development.
