LUYUAN Electric Scooter Company: A Friendly Brand and Business Overview

Aug 17,2026

Choosing an electric mobility brand involves more than looking at product specifications. Customers, distributors, and business partners often want to understand our company behind the vehicles, including history, manufacturing capabilities, product range, and international presence.

As an electric scooter company, LUYUAN has developed business around electric two-wheelers for more than two decades. Our story combines product development, intelligent manufacturing, technology investment, and international expansion, providing useful context for people who want to learn more about our company.

From a Small Project to a Global Electric Mobility Business

LUYUAN's history began in 1996, when an electric vehicle project team was established and developed our first electric vehicle. The trademark was registered in 1997, marking the beginning of our company's commercial journey in electric two-wheelers.

Since then, we have continued to develop our business in China and overseas markets. Now operates more than 14,000 retail stores across more than 80 countries and regions and serves more than 30 million users worldwide.

This history is important because the electric two-wheeler industry has changed significantly since the late 1990s. Battery technologies, motors, intelligent controls, manufacturing processes, and customer expectations have all continued to develop.

More Than an Electric Scooter Company

Although scooters are an important part of the portfolio, our current product structure covers several forms of electric mobility.

The official product portfolio includes electric scooters, electric bikes, and electric kick scooters. Our electric scooter range is organized into Performance, Standard, and Delivery categories, while electric bikes include Urban, Suburb, and Folding models.

This category structure allows our company to address different riding situations. A commuter may need a practical everyday scooter, while another customer may be interested in a performance-oriented vehicle or a model designed for delivery work.

For business partners, a broader portfolio can also provide more flexibility when developing a local product assortment.

Manufacturing Is a Major Part of the Business

A large electric mobility business requires manufacturing infrastructure that can support consistent production.

The Zhejiang base is described as the core electric motorcycle and electric scooter OEM/ODM production facility. We have 11 vehicle assembly lines and uses automated equipment, including AGV intelligent transport carts.

The other manufacturing bases serve different roles. Guangxi integrates research and development, production, and service, while the Shandong facility combines manufacturing with R&D and supporting business functions. The Chongqing base focuses on electric motorcycles, high-power e-scooters, and e-tricycles.

Technology Supports the Product Experience

Technology is another important part of our company's identity. Electric two-wheelers depend on the interaction between motors, batteries, controllers, frames, brakes, and other systems.

Our official information highlights areas including liquid-cooled motors, digital battery technology, driving control, and smart mobility. The manufacturing facilities also include automated motor winding, assembly, and inspection processes with real-time production monitoring.

We also describe an automated frame production platform covering tube fabrication, welding, electrophoresis, and coating.

For everyday users, these technologies may not always be visible. However, they form part of the engineering and production systems behind the finished vehicle.

A Product Range for Different Riding Needs

The current portfolio shows how electric mobility can cover different applications. Performance models include the S95, S90, MQN7, and MKK, while the Standard category includes the S75, S70 Pro, S70, and ZQQ2. The DM 01 is positioned for delivery use.

We also provide electric bikes for urban, suburban, and folding applications. This gives customers alternatives depending on their preferred vehicle format and riding environment.

For distributors, product diversity can be especially useful. Instead of relying on a single model, they can consider different vehicle categories according to local demand, customer budgets, and application requirements.

An International Approach to Electric Mobility

International expansion has been part of  our development for many years. Our history records an initial overseas appearance in Germany in 2002, European market entry after obtaining EEC certification for multiple models in 2007, and entry into the U.S. market in 2018.

Today, Our products are available in more than 80 countries and regions. We also identifie more than 120 overseas dealers in the corporate history information.

International experience can help an electric mobility business understand that different markets have different requirements. Regulations, road conditions, consumer preferences, and purchasing habits can all influence which products are appropriate.

A Different Perspective on an Electric Motorcycle Company

The term electric motorcycle company is sometimes associated primarily with high-performance vehicles. In practice, the category can cover a broader range of electric two-wheelers designed for commuting, commercial use, leisure, and other applications.

This allows our company to approach electric mobility from several directions rather than focusing exclusively on one type of rider.

Why Business Partners May Look at the Company

For distributors, importers, and other B2B customers, a manufacturer's capabilities can be just as important as individual products. Production scale, OEM/ODM capabilities, product development, testing, certifications, and international experience may all influence a potential partnership.

We regard our Zhejiang manufacturing base as a professional OEM and ODM production center, and our full product portfolio is certified with authoritative standards including EEC, CE, DOT, EN 15194, EN 17128, and EN 17860. Certification availability remains model- and market-specific, so buyers should confirm the documentation for their intended product.

These resources can provide a foundation for businesses exploring electric two-wheeler distribution or sourcing.

A Brand Built Around Electric Mobility

LUYUAN's development is a story about the evolution of electric two-wheelers. From our early electric vehicle project to today's manufacturing network and international product portfolio, our company has continued to build business around changing mobility needs.

For consumers, that history provides useful background when researching products. For distributors and other business partners, it offers a broader picture of the organization behind the vehicles.

An electric motorcycle company or scooter manufacturer should ultimately be evaluated through multiple factors, including product quality, technology, manufacturing capability, market experience, and support. Looking at those elements together provides a more complete understanding than judging a brand by one model or one specification.

With our long operating history, broad product portfolio, intelligent manufacturing infrastructure, and international presence, we provide an example of how a Chinese electric mobility business can develop from a domestic electric two-wheeler pioneer into a global-oriented company.
