On May 23, 2026, at the Smart LUYUAN, Ignite the Future launch event, LUYUAN Group officially kicked off its Full-scenario Smart Ecosystem Project and entered into a comprehensive strategic cooperation with Kaihong. This marks the full rollout of LUYUAN’s second-phase full-scenario smart layout. LUYUAN has also become the only brand in the two-wheeled electric vehicle industry to fully adopt OpenHarmony-powered KaihongOS at the underlying operating system level, steering the industry away from mere hardware rivalry toward a new era of systematic smart ecosystem development.
For a long time, most smart solutions in the industry adopt a single-core model driven purely by software. They simply add remote control and other functions to conventional hardware, keeping hardware and smart systems separate. Vehicles remain passive executors and fail to achieve genuine intelligent evolution.
Breaking the traditional R&D mindset, LUYUAN has formulated a three-tier strategy focusing on new materials, new intelligence and new lifestyles, alongside a two-phase technical roadmap. In the first phase, LUYUAN integrates liquid-cooled hardware with AI to develop vehicles with native intelligence. In the second phase, it collaborates with top ecosystem partners to build a full-scenario smart ecosystem connecting people, vehicles, homes and roads. This transforms mobility tools from passive responders into active service providers, realizing a fundamental shift from people adapting to vehicles to vehicles adapting to people.
The strategic cooperation with Kaihong covers the entire industrial chain, including underlying operating systems for two-wheelers, smart manufacturing, smart industrial parks and embodied AI. Developed based on OpenHarmony, KaihongOS boasts robust capabilities for device interconnection, data exchange and distributed collaboration. It tears down barriers across brands and terminals, eliminates isolated data and computing resources, and forms a full-scenario smart interconnection loop linking people, vehicles, homes and roads across multiple brands, terminals and usage scenarios.

The partnership enables in-depth interconnection in three core scenarios. For human-vehicle interaction, facial recognition unlock and AI assistants deliver enhanced user experience. For vehicle-home linkage, users can remotely control smart home devices via the vehicle terminal. For vehicle-road coordination, L2+ advanced driver assistance systems and professional navigation greatly improve riding safety and travel efficiency. Moving beyond a simple means of transport, LUYUAN electric vehicles will evolve into smart hubs connecting users’ daily life and commutes. The open and diversified strengths of the OpenHarmony ecosystem also create unparalleled strategic advantages for the brand’s long-term development.
The smart technologies have also expanded beyond in-vehicle scenarios. LUYUAN, together with Dobot Robotics, unveiled Little Green, an embodied AI shopping guide robot, which will soon be deployed at offline stores nationwide. Leveraging the mature smart technology framework, LUYUAN extends its in-vehicle intelligent capabilities to the retail sector and broadens the application scope of smart technology.

From consolidating hardware foundations and developing native intelligence to building a comprehensive ecosystem, LUYUAN stays committed to one principle: premium mobility products in the AI era rely on inherently built smart systems rather than a simple stack of additional features. Technology exists ultimately to serve people.
This collaboration with Kaihong to embrace the OpenHarmony ecosystem is a milestone in LUYUAN’s intelligent development strategy. It will lead the entire two-wheeled mobility industry into a new phase featured by ecosystem collaboration and universal intelligent connectivity.
